Envato Market: Huge Resource for Creative ProjectsEnvato Market is a creative resource that spans all types of media. We've used it for stock, landing page designs, site themes and even code snippets. The scale of this marketplace is actually quite breathtaking, in the sense that you can quickly purchase, for just a few dollars, components that might take you dozens of hours to produce yourself. Envato Market is comprised of eight different sites, organized by work product/type of resource required. ThemeForest is a marketplace for website development. These are nearly-complete starting points, helping you launch beautiful, responsive websites faster with themes and templates for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, Landing Pages and more. CodeCanyon is a resource for software, with sliders, plugins, scripts and code for WordPress, PHP, Javascript, HTML5, Bootstrap, iOS, Android and more. VideoHive, as the name would suggest, has a huge range of stock footage, After Effects logos and intros, Apple Motion templates and more. Similarly, AudioJungle provides music and sound effects for film, games, trailers, promos, podcasts, backgrounds and more. GraphicRiver, is a marketplace of, among other things, print materials where you can license items from their huge library of illustrations, icons, web elements, templates and more. Finally, PhotoDune is their very-reasonably-priced, royalty free stock photo image market, with a selection that spans weddings to fashion, business, food, family, fitness, people, tech, travel and more. We worked on one micro website recently where we spent about an hour browsing HTML templates, chose one that cost less than $20, and estimate that it probably saved 50 hours in coding time to get the site up and running. The idea of stock images is of course not new. It's amazing how broad the range of ready-to-go creative tools has become.
