The Final StretchWhen the 3rd quarter ends in either a football or basketball game, it is not uncommon to players raise 4 fingers in the air. This is a sign to the rest of the team to play hard for the last quarter and to "gut it out" to the end. While it may not go over so well if you run around the office with 4 fingers in the air and stick your head in everyone's cubicle to scream "let's go", there is some merit in creating energy for our 4th-quarter push. All too often, we see a slow-down at this time of year. The holiday season becomes a major excuse for activity to wane. However, great marketing minds play to the end. While others are coasting, you can push on with a simple 4th-quarter checklist that will lead to victory next year.
